Abosede Babalola, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Provider at Best Option Behavioral Health Services. Dr. Babalola provides exceptional adult and adolescent psychiatry services from the Orland Park, Illinois office in Chicago’s south suburbs.

She utilizes a holistic and evidence-based approach to psychiatric care, partnering with her patients to discover their unique attributes to promote optimal mental health.

Dr. Babalola has a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University, Versailles, Kentucky,  a Master of Science in Nursing (Psychiatric Mental Health NP) from the University of Saint Francis, Joliet, Illinois, a Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, Arizona, a Bachelor of Arts in Education, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Prairie State College, Chicago Heights, Illinois. 

Dr. Babalola works with adolescents and adults struggling with mental health disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, and psychotic disorders like schizophrenia.

She has gained over 15 years of experience in the psychiatric mental health field, working in inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings with different age populations, including adolescents. 

Whatever the nature of the patient’s struggle, Dr. Babalola utilizes astute clinical skills to offer the education, guidance, and support they need to understand and implement a plan of care that guides them toward recovery and healing.
